How we research, review, and update every page.

Every article, comparison, and service page on Codivox is written by the engineering team and reviewed by a named engineer before publishing. This page explains exactly how that works - what we check, how we source information, and what we do when we get something wrong.

Who writes for Codivox

Articles are written by the Codivox engineering team - senior engineers who ship products for a living, not dedicated content writers. If a sentence says something works a certain way, it’s because we’ve shipped it that way on client projects.

Every published piece is reviewed by Inzimam Ul Haq, founding engineer, who signs off on accuracy before the page goes live. His name is on every byline as reviewer because he’s the person accountable for what Codivox publishes.

How we research

Our primary sources, in priority order:

  1. Direct experience on client engagements. Case study metrics, timelines, and budget ranges come from real projects we’ve shipped. We anonymize or aggregate where required by client NDAs, but the numbers are real.
  2. Primary source documentation. For tool comparisons, pricing, and capabilities, we read the official docs and pricing pages directly. Secondary summaries are checked against the source.
  3. Hands-on testing. For tool pages and comparisons, we use the tools on real tasks before writing. If we haven’t used it recently, we say so.
  4. Public benchmarks and research. Where we cite industry statistics, we link to the original study or dataset, not a blog that cites a blog.

What the reviewer verifies on every page

Before a page is published, the reviewer confirms:

  • Every factual claim about a tool matches the current official documentation at the time of publishing.
  • Every price, plan tier, and feature limit is current as of the month the page is dated.
  • Every case study metric comes from a real engagement and is cited to a specific client.
  • Every outbound link resolves and points to a primary source rather than a secondary blog.
  • The advice we give matches how we'd actually advise a paying client in the same situation.

How we keep pages up to date

Tool pricing and feature sets change fast, especially in AI coding. We re-check all tool comparison and tool use-case pages at least once a quarter, and within 30 days of a major announcement from any tool we cover. Pages show a visible Updated date reflecting the last review.

When a price or feature claim changes materially, we update the page the same week and push an IndexNow ping so Google re-crawls within hours instead of weeks.

Corrections and conflicts of interest

We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix the page and add a short correction note at the bottom with the date of the change. We don’t silently edit factual claims.

We have no paid relationships with any of the AI coding tools we compare. We’re not paid by Lovable, Cursor, Replit, Bolt, Copilot, Kiro, Antigravity, Anything, v0, or Figma to say good things about them. When we recommend a tool for a specific job, we recommend it because we’ve shipped with it on a real engagement.

Our AI policy for published content

We use AI as a drafting and research tool - the same way we use it in client engineering work. AI-generated first drafts get rewritten by a human engineer, fact-checked against primary sources, and reviewed before publishing. Nothing on Codivox is AI output that no human has signed off on.

The engineering team has opinions. The AI does not. You’re reading what the team thinks.
